Justin discovered his passion for the law and the value of a dedicated work ethic at an early age. While growing up, he participated in all aspects of the family farming operation in Nebraska with his father, personal injury attorney, Larry Demerath. While in high school, Justin also worked as a law clerk for his father’s law firm. Justin has spent his legal career lobbying, advocating, and litigating on the behalf of people who have suffered damage and has brought accountability to entities that have caused personal injury or wrongful death.
Justin received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Methodist University’s School of Law, and also attended the University of Texas School of Law as a visiting student. During his undergraduate work, Justin studied at University College at Oxford University, Oxford, England, and at the University of Sydney Law Facility in Sydney, Australia.
Justin is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of Nebraska, the American Association of Justice (formerly Association of Trial Lawyers of America), Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Nebraska Trial Lawyers Association, Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, The American Bar Association, Travis County Bar Association, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
